Andy has over 30 years of experience in the air conditioning, heating and plumbing industry. He has been involved in all aspects of the industry, from field technician to senior management and has a strong commitment to operational excellence and a driving passion for providing exceptional customer service. He is a proven leader in the industry, developing processes and training protocols that assure quality and integrity in all aspects of the business. His philosophy is to place the customer’s best interest first in all interactions. His highly dedicated work ethic and his team–oriented management style, have led to the growth and sustainability of various organizations for over 30 years.
Tim Smith brings 15 years of Sales and Operational management experience to the Coolray team, most recently in the home services field. His philosophy of Continuous Improvement has been vital to driving and sustaining market leadership position in his fields of business. Tim is committed to solidifying Coolray’s position as the premier HVAC company in the metro Atlanta market. He holds a Business Management Degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. An avid, and former competitive golfer, Tim and his wife can typically be found on the golf course or attending Atlanta sporting events in their free time.
Heather joined the Coolray family as Controller in June of 2016. She oversees all financial functions for the company with responsibility for financial statements, cash management, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Before joining Coolray, Heather’s background included 15 years in real estate and homebuilding, specifically in the accounting and finance fields. Heather holds a BBA and Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She currently lives in the Canton area with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Alex Bedoya joined the Coolray family as the Vice President of Plumbing Services in March of 2015. Alex not only brings 20 years of progressive operations management experience and expertise to the Mr. Plumber brand, he also brings integrity and business ethics which will heighten Mr. Plumber’s solid credibility. Alex joins us after spending 15 years improving operational performance and enhancing the customer experience in various operational roles for a Fortune 500 company and a global leader in the logistics industry. Alex is truly committed to developing and embracing a customer-centric philosophy in order to enhance the Mr. Plumber culture of putting the customer’s needs at the center of what we do while striving for operational excellence. Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from St. John’s University in New York.
Alex resides in Acworth with his wife and 2 children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books, watching movies, basketball, football and coaching his children’s youth teams as well as spending quality time with his wife and children.
As VP of Technical Training and Safety, Tracy works closely with the technical field staff to maintain the highest levels of technical excellence, managing safety concerns and providing 100% satisfaction to our customers.
Formerly, Tracy was the leader of the Quality Assurance Division, dating back to January of 2010 and was brought onboard to oversee the company's ongoing efforts for continuous improvement in the products and services areas.
A native of the Atlanta area, Tracy has over 30 years of experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry and holds an unrestricted Georgia Conditioned Air License, O.S.H.A and N.A.T.E certifications. After graduating from the two-year HVAC program at Atlanta Area Tech, he spent eight years working as a service technician repairing and installing various types of brands of air conditioning equipment before moving into management. With his varied experience and background in Coolray's business, Tracy brings a unique perspective to his position. When not at work Tracy enjoys spending time with his family, and can likely be found outdoors, boating, kayaking or fishing.
As VP of Coolray's Residential Replacement Division, Ken is fully committed to excellence and 100% customer satisfaction. He has assembled a team of Installers who are hard working, well-trained, customer friendly, and committed to providing the highest quality installations.
Ken has worked in nearly all phases of the heating & air industry since 1977. He began his career as an apprentice during summer break in high school. His background ranges from residential to industrial; his previous positions and responsibilities include Service & Installation Technician, Sales & Design Engineer: Retail Manager, Construction Manager, and Vice President of a family-owned heating & air company.

On a personal note, Ken has been happily married to his high school sweetheart since 1986; they have 3 great teenagers. Ken has volunteered as a leader and counselor in high school youth ministry since 1983. Ken enjoys restoring antique cars, sports, mountain climbing, whitewater rafting, and spending time with his family.
As a 32 year veteran of the HVAC industry, when David is not out catching fish, he’s helping make the world a more comfortable place to be. David and his brother founded their own Heating and Cooling company which was later acquired by Coolray. David is Atlanta born and Atlanta raised, with a wife of 28 years, 3 kids, including twin daughters and son.
David has seen it all when it comes to HVAC and holds an unrestricted HVAC license.
Through the acquisition of Innovative Media Solutions in 2014, Brandon joins the leadership team at Coolray offering 18 years of experience in the audio, video and connected home industry. As President of IMS, Brandon focused on 100% customer satisfaction, delivering the latest technology to his clients. His passion and commitment in this rapidly emerging industry will continue as Vice President of Operations of Coolray’s own, BriteBox Services Division. Brandon resides in Canton with his wife, twin boys & 2 dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, coaching his sons’ baseball team, preserving his GTO & UGA Football.
As the Inside Sales Manager, Bryan is dedicated to delighting our customers with friendly, attentive customer service and strives to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. He brings a decade of industry experience, having served Coolray previously as a NATE Certified Installation & Service Technician as well as an HVAC Comfort Consultant. Bryan most recently established a new outbound call team whose main focus is ensuring our customers’ expectations are exceeded on every home visit.
Bryan obtained his B.S. in Marketing from The Florida State University and is an avid Seminole sports fan. He also has a passion for music and performs throughout the southeast with his band. In his spare time Bryan enjoys traveling, hiking, attending Atlanta sporting events.
As the VP of Operations/Project Manager, Sophia is dedicated to supporting our operating divisions and facilities. Sophia has been a part of the Coolray team since 2003, and has held leadership positions in our accounting department and call center. With over 15 years of experience with Coolray, she is fully dedicated to our core values and brings leadership and teamwork to her position.
Sophia and her husband have two sons. She enjoys jewelry crafts, concerts, the Atlanta Falcons and spending time with family.
As Vice President of the Marietta Service Division for Coolray, Kimball is focused on maintaining 100% Customer Satisfaction and leading the best service department in Georgia. He brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience with residential, light commercial service and installation from over 16 years working within the industry. He studied HVAC at Chattahoochee Tech; and prior to joining the team in 2009, Kimball worked with several respected HVAC companies in Atlanta. Kimball’s diverse background and service disposition will make him a great asset to the leadership team at Coolray and Mr Plumber.
In his spare time, Kimball enjoys spending time with his family and hiking the great outdoors.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Tonja oversees the development and delivery of all Human Resource strategies, services and programs for the Coolray family of companies.
Tonja is a seasoned HR professional who leverages her 20+ year proven track record to align the Human Resource function with Coolray’s organizational values and goals; while providing value added services to the workforce and organization’s bottom line. She recognizes that a company’s number one asset is their employees and her focus is to make employees feel valued by being consistent, responsive and treating employees with respect and dignity; yet always challenging them to perform at their highest level.
Prior to joining Coolray Heating and Cooling, LLC, Tonja has held various human resources positions; VP of Associate Services with Lane Management, LLC, Corporate Human Resources Director with Atlantis Plastics, Inc., Benefits and Compensation Analyst with John Wieland Homes and Accounts Payable/Payroll Manager with Checkmate Electronics.
Tonja was also an adjunct professor at DeVry University where she instructed various classes in the Human Resources undergrad curricula; including Employment Law, Benefits and Compensation, Strategic Staffing, Web Based HRIS Systems, and HR Planning.
Tonja possesses the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Branell Institute, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Reinhardt College, and a Masters of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
As a person who is dedicated to professional growth, Tonja is certified in the behavioral assessment tool, Predictive Index, and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management [SHRM].
