Plumbing with Purpose was inspired by a customer named Kevin.
Kevin experienced more hardships in a few short months than most people face in a lifetime. After losing multiple family members, including his wife, he was left raising his 11-year-old daughter, Sophie, on his own. As he worked to navigate grief, medical challenges, and financial strain, another unexpected obstacle arose—his water heater failed.
Like many parents would, Kevin was prepared to spend the last of his available savings to ensure his daughter had hot water at home.
When our team learned about Kevin's situation, they knew there had to be another way. Instead of charging him for the replacement, our team came together to provide the water heater and installation at no cost.
What seemed like a simple plumbing service became something much greater: an opportunity to restore comfort, relieve stress, and remind someone that they weren't facing life's challenges alone.
Kevin's story sparked a question within our organization:

The answer became Plumbing with Purpose.
Plumbing with Purpose is a monthly outreach initiative designed to provide a deserving family or individual with a free water heater and professional installation.
Through community nominations, we identify individuals who may be experiencing financial hardship, health challenges, personal loss, unexpected life circumstances, or other situations where a helping hand could make a meaningful difference.
