The 12U Sandy Plains Wildcats played travel baseball out of Harrison Park in the heart of East Cobb. The team has families that live in East Cobb, West Cobb, and Cherokee County. The team had a successful season this year with a record of 35-22-2, winning percentage of .610.


The mission of the 2010 12U Sandy Plains Wildcats baseball team was to provide a healthy baseball experience while promoting a highly competitive baseball team with appreciation for good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, hard work and maturity. It was always our intent that all of our young men, coaches, and parents would grow through competition, friendly fellowship, and the love of the game. The coaching staff held true to this statement.

The 12U Wildcats had the following success:

  1. Won the 12U Northwest Georgia Baseball East Divisional Title.
  2. Finished 2nd Overall in the Northwest Georgia Baseball 12U League.
  3. Played in 9 tournaments in the 2010 season. Won 1-Tournament, finished 2nd in two tournaments, made the final 4- in two tournaments.
  4. Traveled to Cooperstown New York and played in the Cooperstown Field of Dreams Youth Tournament. It was an amazing trip full of baseball history that our families, coaches, and players will never forget.
